About the project
RCA Moderno is a digital civil registration platform in development for the Central African Republic government, built with La Cant, a technology company based in Bangui. It brings citizen service applications and administrative processing together, letting citizens request civil status documents while officers review, validate and issue birth, marriage and death certificates across a network of offices.
Civil registration in the Central African Republic runs on paper. Citizens travel to an office to request a birth, marriage or death certificate, and officers process each request by hand across a network of offices that share no common record.
STES Group is building RCA Moderno together with La Cant in Bangui. Citizens submit civil status requests digitally, and registration officers review, validate and issue certificates through one connected system that every office works from.
